Sal Morando

Board-Certified Massage Therapist
Myoskeletal Alignment Specialist

I utilize Myoskeletal Alignment to systematically address joint dysfunction and "lock-ups" in the neck, back, and pelvis. By combining deep-tissue precision with a profound understanding of biomechanics, I empower my patients to reclaim their mobility.

Though legally blind due to Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy, my vision disability is a strength that enables me to be more in tune with the structural nuances of the human body.

Inquiries.

Must I be completely undressed?
Most massage and bodywork techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; you will be properly draped during the entire session. However, I completely understand those who do not feel comfortable. My work can be adequately done with sport shorts and a sport bra.
Does my insurance cover massage?
Massage Therapists are not considered healthcare providers and cannot bill insurance companies. However, if you have a flex spend or health savings account, you can use those funds to cover your treatments. You will receive a receipt to submit to your provider.
Are there conditions where massage is unadvisable?
Yes. It is very important that you inform the practitioner of any health problems or medications. If you are under a doctor’s care, a written recommendation is advised. Also, my work is not safe for a pregnant woman.
